CallMindz ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the CallMindz mobile application ("the App").

CallMindz is developed and operated by AdsDunia Private Limited (adsdunia.com), a company registered in India.

CallMindz is a default phone/dialer application that replaces your device's built-in phone app. When set as the default phone handler, CallMindz handles incoming and outgoing calls and accesses your call history to provide call management, organization, and analytics features. This is the core functionality of the app.

📱 1. Information We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide core app functionality:

a) Personal Information

Name
Email address
Phone number

b) Call Log Data

When CallMindz is set as your default phone app, it may access your device call logs, including:

Phone numbers
Call type (incoming, outgoing, missed, rejected, blocked)
Call timestamps
Call duration
Contact names (if available in your phone's contacts)

c) Contact Data

With your permission, CallMindz reads your device contacts to:

Display contact names in call logs and the dialer
Enable contact browsing and one-tap calling
Show caller identification on incoming calls

d) Device Information

Device ID (for account security)

⚙️ 2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly to provide and improve the App's core dialer and call management functionality:

Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls as the default dialer
Import and organize call history
Display contacts for easy calling
Identify missed and attended calls
Provide analytics and insights (charts, statistics, peak hours)
Enable tagging, notes, and follow-up tracking
Allow export of reports (CSV/PDF)
Detect suspected spam callers
Manage your account and subscription

📞 3. Default Dialer & Call Handling

CallMindz functions as a default phone/dialer app. When you set CallMindz as your default phone handler, it uses Android's InCallService to manage incoming and outgoing calls on your device.

As the default phone handler, CallMindz:

Displays an in-app call screen for incoming and outgoing calls
Provides a dial pad for placing calls
Reads your call history to display and organize call logs
Writes call records to maintain accurate call history within the dialer

Call log and phone permissions are only requested after you actively set CallMindz as your default phone app. If you switch back to another dialer, CallMindz immediately stops using these permissions.

🔒 4. Call Log Data Usage

❌ No call recording or interception
❌ No selling or sharing of call data with third parties
❌ No use of call data for advertising or profiling
❌ No transfer of call data to external services beyond your own cloud sync

Call log data is used only for:

Displaying call history within the dialer
Call organization, tagging, and tracking
Business insights and analytics
Follow-up reminders for missed calls
Export and reporting (CSV/PDF/Google Sheets)

🤝 5. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data, call log data, or contact data with any third parties.

Your data is used only within CallMindz to provide app functionality. The only third-party integration is Google Play Billing for subscription payments — Google's own privacy policy applies to payment data. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

🔐 6. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored securely using encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
Data is stored locally on your device and/or securely on our servers
Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms — never stored in plain text
We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access

🧑‍💻 7. Permissions We Use

CallMindz uses the following Android permissions strictly for core dialer and call management features:

READ_CALL_LOG → To import and display call history (only when app is set as default phone handler)
WRITE_CALL_LOG → To maintain call records within the dialer (only when app is set as default phone handler)
CALL_PHONE → To make calls directly from the dial pad and contact list
MANAGE_OWN_CALLS → To manage active calls as the default dialer
READ_PHONE_STATE → To detect call state and display the in-call screen
ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS → To answer incoming calls from the in-call screen
READ_CONTACTS → To display contact names in call logs and enable contact browsing

Call log permissions (READ_CALL_LOG, WRITE_CALL_LOG) are only activated after you set CallMindz as your default phone app. These permissions are never used for tracking, background monitoring, or any purpose other than core dialer functionality.

🗑️ 8. User Control & Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

You choose whether to set CallMindz as your default phone app
You can switch back to your previous dialer at any time from device Settings
Call logs are imported only when you choose to do so
You can clear all imported data from the App at any time
You can export your data (CSV/PDF) before deletion
You can delete your account at any time, which removes all stored data from our servers within 48 hours
You can revoke permissions from your device Settings at any time

⏱️ 9. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide the App's services:

Account data (name, email): Retained while your account is active. Deleted within 48 hours of account deletion request.
Call log data: Stored on our servers while your account is active. You can delete individual records or all data at any time from within the app.
Contact data: Read from your device in real-time. We do not permanently store your contacts on our servers.
Device information: Retained for security purposes while your account is active.

After account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed from our servers within 48 hours. Backups are purged within 30 days.

🌍 10. Compliance with Data Protection Laws

Indian Data Protection: CallMindz complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act), 2023. We process personal data only for the purposes disclosed in this policy and with your consent.

GDPR (European Users): If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Right of Access — Request a copy of your personal data
Right to Rectification — Request correction of inaccurate data
Right to Erasure — Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Right to Data Portability — Request your data in a machine-readable format (CSV export)
Right to Restrict Processing — Request limitation of data processing
Right to Object — Object to processing of your data

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR): We process your data based on: (a) your consent when you set CallMindz as default dialer and grant permissions, (b) contractual necessity to provide the app's services, and (c) legitimate interest in improving our services and preventing fraud.

👶 11. Children's Privacy

CallMindz is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

🔄 12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
